Zarathustra ê Ōe-thâu
1.
Zarathustra 30 hòe ê sî, i lī-khui kò͘-hiong, lī-khui kò͘-hiong ê ô͘, lâi kàu soaⁿ-lāi. Tī chia, i ùi cheng-sîn hām ko͘-to̍k tit-tio̍h hiáng-siū, keng-kòe 10 nî, bô ià-siān. M̄-koh, lo̍h-bóe i ê sim kái-piàn ah ... chi̍t-kang i tòe chá-khí ê âng-hê khí-sin, i bīn tùi ji̍t-thâu, kā i kóng:
Lí chit-lia̍p úi-tāi ê thiⁿ-chheⁿ ah! Nā bô hiah-ê hō͘ lí chiò tio̍h ê bān-bu̍t, lí ná ū siáⁿ hēng-hok ah!
Cha̍p-nî lâi, lí pê lâi chia, lâi góa ê soaⁿ-tōng: nā m̄-sī ū góa, ū góa ê eng-chiáu hām chôa, lí tiāⁿ-tio̍h ē ià-siān lí ê kng hām lí ê lō͘-tô͘.
M̄-koh, goán ta̍k chá-khí lóng tán lí, ùi lí tit-tio̍h kong-iāu, koh ūi he chiok-hok lí.
Lí khòaⁿ! Ná chhiūⁿ chhái siuⁿ chē bi̍t ê phang, góa ià-siān ka-tī ê tì-hūi; góa su-iàu ū lâng chhun-chhiú lâi the̍h che tì-hūi.
Góa siūⁿ-boeh sàng, siūⁿ-boeh pun-tiuⁿ, it-ti̍t kàu tì-hūi-chiá koh-chài in-ūi gû-gōng lâi lo̍k-thiòng, sàn-hiong-lâng in-ūi châi-hù lâi hoaⁿ-hí.
In-ūi án-ne, góa tio̍h lo̍h-khì chhim-té: tō ná chhiūⁿ lí múi-àm án-ne, ná chhiūⁿ lí kàng lo̍h tōa-hái, kā kong-bêng hō͘ ē-bīn ê sè-kài, lí chit-ê tōa êng-iāu ê thiⁿ-chheⁿ ah!
Ná chhiūⁿ lí án-ne, góa tio̍h lo̍h-khì, tō ná lâng só͘-kóng, góa tio̍h kàng-lîm in hia.
Nā án-ne, chhiáⁿ chiok-hok góa lah, lí he pêng-chēng ê ba̍k-chiu, khòaⁿ koh-khah tōa ê hēng-hok mā bē ba̍k-chhiah!
Chiok-hok chit-ê tit-boeh ek-chhut ê poe-á, he ek-lâu ê chúi siám kim-kng, kā lí ê chiok-hok hoán-siā kàu ta̍k sì-kè khì!
Lí khòaⁿ! Chit-ê poe-á tit-boeh koh piàn khang, Zarathustra tit-boeh koh-chài piàn chò chi̍t-ê lâng.
Chū án-ne, Zarathustra khai-sí lo̍h-soaⁿ khì.

Zarathustra ê 話頭
1.
Zarathustra 30 歲 ê 時, 伊離開故鄉, 離開故鄉 ê 湖, 來到山內. Tī chia, 伊 ùi 精神 hām 孤獨得著享受, 經過 10 年, 無厭僐. M̄-koh, 落尾伊 ê 心改變 ah ... 一工伊綴早起 ê 紅霞起身, 伊面對日頭, kā 伊講:
你這粒偉大 ê 天星 ah! 若無 hiah-ê 予你照著 ê 萬物, 你那有啥幸福 ah!
十年來, 你爬來 chia, 來我 ê 山洞: 若毋是有我, 有我 ê 鷹鳥 hām 蛇, 你定著 ē 厭僐你 ê 光 hām 你 ê 路途.
M̄-koh, 阮 ta̍k 早起 lóng 等你, ùi 你得著光耀, koh 為 he 祝福你.
你看! Ná 像採 siuⁿ 濟蜜 ê 蜂, 我厭僐家己 ê 智慧; 我需要有人伸手來提 che 智慧.
我想欲送, 想欲分張, 一直到智慧者 koh 再因為愚戇來樂暢, sàn-hiong 人因為財富來歡喜.
因為 án-ne, 我著落去深底: tō ná 像你每暗 án-ne, ná 像你降落大海, kā 光明予下面 ê 世界, 你這个大榮耀 ê 天星 ah!
Ná 像你 án-ne, 我著落去, tō ná 人所講, 我著降臨 in hia.
若 án-ne, 請祝福我 lah, 你 he 平靜 ê 目睭, 看 koh 較大 ê 幸福 mā 袂目赤!
祝福這个 tit 欲溢出 ê 杯仔, he 溢流 ê 水閃金光, kā 你 ê 祝福反射到 ta̍k 四界去!
你看! 這个杯仔 tit 欲 koh 變空, Zarathustra tit 欲 koh 再變做一个人.
自 án-ne, Zarathustra 開始落山去.

Zarathustra's Prologue
1
When Zarathustra was thirty years old, he left his home and the lake of his home, and went into the mountains. There he enjoyed his spirit and his solitude, and for ten years did not weary of it. But at last his heart changed,—and rising one morning with the rosy dawn, he went before the sun, and spake thus unto it:
Thou great star! What would be thy happiness if thou hadst not those for whom thou shinest!
For ten years hast thou climbed hither unto my cave: thou wouldst have wearied of thy light and of the journey, had it not been for me, mine eagle, and my serpent.
But we awaited thee every morning, took from thee thine overflow, and blessed thee for it.
Lo! I am weary of my wisdom, like the bee that hath gathered too much honey; I need hands outstretched to take it.
I would fain bestow and distribute, until the wise have once more become joyous in their folly, and the poor happy in their riches.
Therefore must I descend into the deep: as thou doest in the evening, when thou goest behind the sea, and givest light also to the nether-world, thou exuberant star!
Like thee must I go down, as men say, to whom I shall descend.
Bless me, then, thou tranquil eye, that canst behold even the greatest happiness without envy!
Bless the cup that is about to overflow, that the water may flow golden out of it, and carry everywhere the reflection of thy bliss!
Lo! This cup is again going to empty itself, and Zarathustra is again going to be a man.
Thus began Zarathustra's down-going.
